Recognized not only as an importantsoloist and international recording artist, JimSnidero has also received acclaim as a best-selling author and teacher in the jazz education field. He has given hundreds of workshops all over the world, including outstanding college programs at Berklee C.of Music, Univ.of North Texas, Univ.of Miami, Indiana Univ., New England Cons. and many more, along with outstanding high school programs. H also teaches at Mannes/New School of Music in New York City and Jamey Aebersold's Summer Camps. With all these various experiences, he can help any jazz program become more focused and productive. Snidero's workshops can be tailored to any program's needs.

The subjects that can be covered are:

Developing improvisation skills
Learning jazz style and interpretation
Saxophone Skills
Ensemble playing (big band or small group)
Composition
Publishing
Business Skills

The Workshops can be:

-1 to 2 hours
-an entire day, including a concert in the evening

Jim has dozens of big band charts, at various levels, to perform withyour big band and/or can play with a small group.
