The Easy Jazz Conception
This series was designed specifically for beginning to intermediate students wanting to learn about jazz style and improvisation.

Intermediate Jazz Conception contains 15 etudes based on classic model tunes, standards and even a ballad. New to this series is an extensive appendix with practice tips on style, a scale syllabus and over 95 ideas extracted for the study of improvisation. The included CD has 2 tracks of each etude, one with the soloist and rhythm section and one with rhythm section only. The rhythm section sounds fantastic.
